Intaling joomla 1.6 on your personal computer is verry simple. Just follow the instalation Istruction joomla 1.6.
The first you have a master of joomla 1.6 and your computer was instaled of XAMPP.

Make a Folder under xampp - htdocs Folder. for example i use joomla16 (this folder name will be your local site name)
Then Extract all of joomla 1.6 to this folder. Then close your windows explorer. and open your browser (I.E or Fireworks or Opera).
Select the langguage as your langguage for joomla 1.6. Then click next until Database step.

On Database steps you must input the row carefully.
Database type : MySQLi Type
Hostname : localhost
Username : root
Password : (blank)
Database Name : select your dbase name
Table Prefix : jos_

Then Click next.and stop on configuration step. Fill blank hole as
Site Name : (Type your blog title)
Click Advanced Settings - Optional
Type your Description and Blog keyword

Admin email : your email
Username : admin
Password : Your password then conform your password again.
then click instal sample data.

then click next, your instalation is finish. go to the folder again... then delete Instalaiton folder. then your steps for instaling joomla 1.6 is finish
